Corbin

Corbin is loving first grade. Here he is wrestling with his friend Cooper. The problem is, Corbin is so big he basicially gets him down and just lays on him. He is still by far one of the biggest kids in his grade. It's kind of hard for him sometimes because everyone thinks he's way older than he really is and expects more out of him... including his parents!

I'm adding a few picts to show how tall and big he really is compared to other kids his age.

This pict cracks me up! I'm a little nervous about how much our food bill is going to be here in a few years.

Of course he is playing "Center" on his new Flag Football Team. He is loving it though!

Butterflies, Boysenberry Shakes, & Big Games

This monarch butterfly hung aroung our house for a couple of days. We all thought it was so cool!

They thought this fountain at City Creek was amazing! We need to go there again when we have the whole family and a little more time.

Grandpa John grows the BEST boysenberries! They LOVE fresh boysenberry shakes! Yum!

Affies gel toes.

Corb's first soccer game of the season

Cam's first game as well

We had a ward party and Justin was voted as one of the people to get dunked by the dunkenator! I love how he totally dressed up for the occasion! Goofball!

Reagan was up first and TOTALLY missed her first two tries....

Here is try #3....

...and here is Justin! LOL! Reagan totally dunked him... twice!

Corb got SO close!

Cam got even closer! But still, Reag was the only child of mine to dunk him.

So my dad has this humming-bird feeder on their back porch that he refills daily. They are everywhere! At one point I think there were about 20 humming-birds humming around. Of course when I went to take a pict of Cam with them, they all flew away but one.

Love this little chickie!!!

Random Picts

Super cool picture of the Salt Lake City Temple that I found of FB.

Cam doing Baptism's for the Dead

So while I was having my yard sale this kid just appeard on his bike. He looked around for a few minutes and then started talking to me. He had a very stron accent. He wanted me to guess where he was from. I thought for about 5 seconds and then said "Latvia". The look on his face was Pricless!!! He couldn't believe that I guessed it on the first try! We talked about how my brother was one out of 4 boys that opened up the "Baltic States" which is Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia during his LDS mission. It was so cool just talking to him. He said he was riding his bike around Grantsville trying to find a job for 3 weeks before he returns home to Latvia and had a feeling to ride down my street. He said it was meant to be... that for whatever reason we were supposed to meet.... We may never know why? :)

Goofball #1

Goofball #2

This was my primary class today. These are my kids not being reverant...

... and this is how reverant they usually are. NOT!!! :)

Uncle Pat won the Demolition Derby!

Corb and Brighton at the Demolition Derby. Corbin was SOOO excited to watch uncle Pat in this Derby! He was seriously making me NUTS talking about it every day, a million times a day, until it happened!

This is the first derby that we've seen a truck heat. That red truck was tough as nails!

Uncle Pat in the #22 car. That other car was so smashed! It looked so stinkin funny by the end of the heat!

Corb with uncle Pat after he wond the WHOLE Derby! Go Pat!!!

Teryn, Grandpa Steve and Afton. They love their grandpa!

Hike to Deseret Peak... I mean South Willow Lake

So a few of our friends decided that we were going to hike to Deseret Peak. Long story short... We kind of took a wrong turn about 1 mile into the hike, got a little lost for about 1 1/2 hours and then ended up hiking to South Willow Lake instead. We had SO much fun! Getting lost and all! Next time we will make it to the Peak!

Me, Jenny, and Liz

Justin tight-roping the tree... He lost his balance about 8 feet from the edge and seriously almost broke his leg or neck or something. This is when we were trying to find the trail... a trail... any trail. :)

We have such beautiful mountains just outside of Grantsville. I love them!

Justin didn't wear the best hiking shoes. He had 3-4 HUGE blisters by the time we were done. Poor guy!

Rob and Justin enjoying South Willow Lake

THIS is where we took off on the wrong trail and got lost. Here is Justin trying to prevent future hikers from making the same mistake we did by blocking the path.
Good Times!
