Day 4: Icy Straight Point
At Icy Straight Point there are several things to do.... Go on the worlds longest Zip Line (Spencer and Amber did this), go on little nature walks, fish, shop, walk to the nearby town of Hoonah (they said it's a 20 minute walk from Icy Straight... they really meant a 45 minute walk) Anyhow, we walked the walk, and went to Hoonah while the guys were fishing.

First full picture of our ship from shore

Grandpa Steve helping get everyone rigged up.
 On our nature walk.
On our long walk to Hoonah there was this pretty little cemetery off the side of the road - I thought I needed a few pictures.

Totem Pole makers... (for whatever reason everyone's pictures in this building turned out green-ish). It apparently takes about 5 months to carve one Totem Pole and at least 3 hours for someone to tell the story of each Totem Pole. Who knew?

Grandpa Steve's BIG catch rivals Justin's in Ketchikan.  Just sayin....
 Sharon's catch
Ben and Justin looking like true Alaskan mountain men.

This is a picture that Ben took. So pretty
Yes, I did catch a fish, and no, I would not hold it for the picture. The fish had been bit by something (I'm saying it was a shark to make things more exciting!) It died and was belly up... I was feeling really bad, then all of a sudden (after like 5 minutes) it came back to life and started jumping out of the water like a possessed fish and swimming away on it's side all crazy! Last time I saw it, it was alive. I felt better about that.

Some of the ships crew members asked if they could have several of the fish that the guys caught. They had fire pits all over to cook them in. They ended up inviting us all up to try some. It wasn't too bad. (I'm not a seafood fan)
Grandma Sandy taking it all in...
 Ice sculpting on the ship

The Maitre d'. We were his favorite table. Hey, he said it!
